Illicit Lanterns #

Well… my friend brought me to Chiang Mai because he said that the New Years Lantern Festival was wild. But, as it turns out, new years lanterns have been illegal within most of the most popular zones since 2015. So, as of normal, I didn’t do any research and was just here anyways. But it was a very interesting experience, because there was definitely lots of people releasing lanterns. The police were facing a large uphill battle trying to stop it.

Dirty Coffee #

Between here and Melbourne, I’ve learned about the “Dirty Coffee”. This is an interesting drink that I’m sure will start catching on in the States in a few years.

What might not catch on is the Egg Coffee. Which I like. But I’m assuming other people might not. But hey, man, it’s coffee and breakfast both in one simple package!
