šø Ho Chi Minh City
Unfortunately, my phone broke (While I was holding it! What build quality!) while I was here, so I donāt have a ton of photos. But Ho Chi Minh city was probably the most energetic city Iāve lived in. It felt like everything was happening all the time. Fortunately, I still have the most important one; demonstrating how to cross the street in Ho Chi Minh City; which is basically⦠start walking, donāt stop, and pray.
note: Iāll have you know that when I uploaded this video, the computer tried to auto-add a tag of āSPORTS-RACINGā.
New Trains #
While I was in Ho Chi Minh City, they had just completed their first metro line. It was extremely entertaining how excited everyone was. The was only one line, so all the trains were going to the same places. But every time I used the metro, thereād be people waiting there for the train. And when the train arrived, theyād take pictures with the train. And then the train would leave, and the people would still be there, waiting to take pictures with the next train. The major stations especially were photographer central.

Understanding Money #
So currently mathing in Vietnam actually helps me put some of this into perspective just how much money rich people have. Because currency exchange while I was in Vietnam was around 4 USD ā 100,000 VND (Vietnamese Äį»ng). And so I did some basic math.
- I spent $40 getting groceries. Thatās a million VND.
- $40,000 makes you a Vietnam billionaire.
- To be a Vietnam trillionaire, Iād need 40 million USD.
Specifically, the difference between a millionaire and a billionaire is pretty clear when you use VND.
And Vietnamese Iced Coffee. Why this one is in a medicine bottle, the world will never know.
